Prega News Advance is a rapid single-step home pregnancy test based on midstream urine collection. It is designed for easy, clean and quick testing without any dropper or separate urine container. The device helps detect the pregnancy hormone hCG in urine with results in about 3 minutes when used correctly.
- Rapid single-step pregnancy test device
- Midstream testing – no dropper required
- Easy to grip thumb-hold design
- Clear result window for easy reading
- Can be used at home in privacy
- Results visible in about 3 minutes
- Open the foil pouch and remove the Prega News Advance test device.
- Remove the protective cap from the absorbent tip.
- Hold the device with the absorbent tip pointing downwards in the urine stream for about 10 seconds, until it is fully wet.
- Cover the absorbent tip again with the cap and place the device on a flat surface with the result window facing up.
- Wait for about 3 minutes and then read the result in the result window.
For best accuracy, the first morning urine sample is preferred as it contains higher concentration of hCG.
- Pregnant: Two pink lines appear – one at C (control) and one at T (test).
- Not Pregnant: Only one pink line appears at C (control) and no line at T.
- Invalid: No line at C. In this case the test is invalid even if a line appears at T. Use a new device and repeat the test.
- Retest advice: If the test line is very faint or you tested very early, repeat the test after 2–3 days with first morning urine, or consult your doctor for a blood test.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Do not freeze the kit.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Use only once; discard the device after single use.
- Do not use the test after the expiry date printed on the pack.
