CTD-T 6.25/80 Tablet

CTD-T 6.25/80 Tablet contains two medicines used to control high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time every day. Because it contains a diuretic (water pill), it may increase urination, therefore avoid taking it within four hours of bedtime. Use regularly even if you feel well, as hypertension usually has no symptoms.

CTD-T 6.25/80 Tablet contains Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone. Telmisartan relaxes and widens blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic that increases urine output, removing excess fluid and reducing blood pressure. Proper BP control lowers the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage.

Most side effects are temporary and do not require medical attention. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist.

• Diarrhea
• Red spots or bumps
• Decreased potassium level in blood
• Increased uric acid level
• Postural hypotension
• Impotence
• Loss of appetite
• Gastrointestinal disturbance

Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow whole with water; do not crush, chew, or break. May be taken with or without food, but at a fixed time daily. Do not stop use without consulting your physician.

Telmisartan – an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.
Chlorthalidone – a diuretic (water pill) that increases urine output and removes excess salt and water from the body, helping reduce BP further.
