Amlosafe 2.5 Tablet

Amlosafe 2.5 contains Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker that helps relax blood vessels. It is generally prescribed by doctors for the management of high blood pressure and certain heart-related conditions. By relaxing and widening the blood vessels, it assists in improving blood flow and helps keep blood pressure under control as advised by your physician.

• Helps in the management of high blood pressure (hypertension) as prescribed by the doctor

• May lower the risk of complications of uncontrolled blood pressure when taken regularly as advised
• Low-dose 2.5 mg strength allows stepwise titration as per physician’s guidance

• Use this medicine strictly as directed by your physician.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush, chew or break unless advised.
• Try to take the dose at the same time each day for best results.
• Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.
• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose – do not double up.
• Inform your doctor about all other medicines you are taking (for heart, BP, diabetes, thyroid etc.) before starting Amlosafe 2.5.

• Store protected from moisture in a cool, dry place.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Use only on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner.
• Do not use the tablets after the expiry date printed on the pack.
• Patients with kidney, liver or serious heart problems, or pregnant / breastfeeding women, should use only under strict medical supervision.
