Telvas H 80/12.5 Telmisartan

Telvas H 80/12.5 is a combination antihypertensive formulation containing Telmisartan (80 mg) and Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg). It is supplied as uncoated bi-layered tablets in blister strips. Each pack contains 10 strips of 10 tablets (10 x 10).

Each uncoated bi-layer tablet contains:
• Telmisartan IP — 80 mg
• Hydrochlorothiazide IP — 12.5 mg
• Excipients — q.s.
Colours/other ingredients as per manufacturer.

Dosage: As directed by the physician. Do not self-medicate. Follow your doctor’s prescription and instructions.

Store protected from light and moisture at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

• Schedule H drug — To be sold by retail only on the prescription of a Registered Medical Practitioner.
• Warning: When pregnancy is detected, Telmisartan should be discontinued as soon as possible because it can cause injury and even death to the developing foetus when used in pregnancy (second and third trimesters).
• Important: Moisture sensitive tablets — do not remove from strip until immediately before administration.
• If you experience unusual symptoms (dizziness, swelling, fainting, very low urine output, allergic reactions), contact your physician immediately.
