CTD-MT 6.25/50/40 Tablet ER

CTD-MT 6.25/50/40 Tablet ER is a combination medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It relaxes blood vessels, improves blood flow, supports heart pumping efficiency, and removes excess water and salts from the body to reduce blood pressure.

It can be taken with or without food but should be taken at the same time every day. As this medicine increases urination, avoid taking it within four hours of bedtime. Continue taking it regularly even if you feel well as high BP often has no symptoms.

Most side effects are mild and temporary. Contact your doctor if they persist or worsen.

Common side effects include:

• Nausea
• Diarrhea
• Upset stomach
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Cold extremities
• Numbness of extremities
• Increased blood lipid level
• Slow heart rate
• Low blood pressure

Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow whole with water — do not crush, chew, or break. May be taken with or without food, but ideally at a fixed time each day. Do not discontinue without medical advice.

CTD-MT 6.25/50/40 Tablet ER contains:

Chlorthalidone – diuretic that removes excess water & electrolytes; relaxes blood vessels over time.
Metoprolol Succinate – beta-blocker that slows heart rate and improves pumping efficiency.
Telmisartan – angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that widens and relaxes blood vessels to lower BP.
