CTD-MT 12.5/50/40 Tablet ER

CTD-MT 12.5/50/40 Tablet ER is a combination medicine used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It works by relaxing the blood vessels, making the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body, and removing extra water and certain electrolytes through urine.

It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Because it increases urine output, it is better to take it in the daytime or at least 4 hours before bedtime to avoid frequent urination at night. Take it exactly as advised by your doctor and for as long as prescribed.

CTD-MT 12.5/50/40 Tablet ER relaxes blood vessels, improves heart efficiency and increases urine output. This helps to lower blood pressure and reduces the risk of stroke, heart attack and kidney problems in the future. You may not feel an immediate benefit, but it works in the long term to keep you well. It should be taken regularly as prescribed, even if you start feeling better.

CTD-MT 12.5/50/40 Tablet ER is a combination of three medicines:

Chlorthalidone – a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes through urine.
Metoprolol Succinate – a beta-blocker that slows the heart rate and reduces the heart's workload.
Telmisartan – an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes and widens blood vessels.

Together, they lower blood pressure effectively and help protect the heart and kidneys.
