CTD-M 6.25/50 Tablet ER is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It helps to control blood pressure when a single medication is not effective and reduces the chances of future heart attack and stroke. Early treatment with this medicine improves survival outcomes in heart attack patients.

It can be taken with or without food, preferably in the morning to avoid frequent urination at night. Continue taking it as advised by the doctor. Even if you feel well, do not stop this medicine suddenly as uncontrolled BP increases risk of complications.

Metoprolol Succinate – a beta blocker that reduces heart rate & workload.
Chlorthalidone – a diuretic that removes excess water and electrolytes to lower BP.
