CTD-L 12.5/50 Tablet

CTD-L 12.5/50 Tablet is a combination of two medicines used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). If high blood pressure remains uncontrolled, it can lead to serious issues like heart attack, stroke, and kidney failure.

It may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time every day. Since it contains a diuretic (water pill), it increases urine output, so it is advisable to avoid taking it within 4 hours of bedtime. Do not stop taking it even if you feel well because high blood pressure usually has no symptoms. Continue as directed by your doctor.

CTD-L 12.5/50 Tablet contains Losartan and Chlorthalidone. Losartan relaxes and widens blood vessels to improve blood flow. Chlorthalidone increases urine output and removes extra fluid from the body. Together, they effectively reduce blood pressure and lower the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage in the long term. Even if you don’t feel immediate improvement, the medicine works internally to protect your health.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts. Consult your doctor if they persist.
