CTD-T 6.25/20 Tablet

CTD-T 6.25/20 Tablet contains two medicines used to control high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure helps reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

It can be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time each day and continue taking it as advised. Since it contains a diuretic (water pill) that increases urination, avoid taking it within 4 hours of bedtime. Even if you feel well, continue using it as high blood pressure usually has no symptoms.

CTD-T 6.25/20 Tablet is a combination of Telmisartan and Chlorthalidone. Telmisartan relaxes and widens blood vessels for smoother blood flow, lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic (water pill) that increases urine output and removes excess fluid, helping reduce BP further.

Controlling BP lowers the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney problems. The medicine must be taken regularly to be effective.

Most side effects disappear as your body adjusts. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist.

• Diarrhea
• Red skin bumps
• Low potassium levels
• High uric acid
• Postural hypotension
• Impotence
• Loss of appetite
• Gastrointestinal discomfort

Take the tablet in the dose and duration advised. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew. Take at a fixed time daily with or without food.

CTD-T 6.25/20 Tablet is a combination of two medicines:
